Kaieteur Falls is spectacular year-round. The rainy seasons (May-August ) offer the most powerful water flow, often creating the famous “thunder” of the falls. The dry seasons usually provide clearer skies for the scenic flight from Georgetown.
Can I swim at Kaieteur Falls?
No, swimming is strictly prohibited at Kaieteur Falls due to the powerful currents and height of the drop. If you are looking for a waterfall you can swim in, we recommend our Kaieteur & Orinduik Falls Combo Tour, where you can bathe in the natural jasper pools of Orinduik.
Is there a weight limit for the flight?
