Days

Experience the incredible biodiversity and vibrant culture of Guyana on this 9-day rainforest and Rupununi expedition. This immersive journey takes you through some of South America’s most striking landscapes, including the bustling capital of Georgetown, the pristine Iwokrama Rainforest, the magnificent Kaieteur Falls, and the wildlife-rich Rupununi savannah.

This adventure is a perfect blend of cultural experiences and thrilling wildlife encounters. In Georgetown, you’ll dive into the country’s rich heritage before venturing into the unspoiled rainforest. The rivers teem with life, offering chances to spot giant river otters, black caimans, and scarlet ibis. In the dense jungles, you’ll get a unique perspective on the canopy from suspended bridges, offering breathtaking views of the lush landscape.

Throughout your journey, you’ll stay at authentic eco-lodges like Iwokrama River Lodge and Karanambu Lodge, where you can enjoy the genuine hospitality of the Guyanese people. This trip offers countless unforgettable moments, from searching for giant anteaters to simply soaking in the diverse beauty of the jungle.

Guyana remains a truly wild and untamed destination, untouched by mass tourism. This makes it an ideal place for photographers and curious explorers to encounter indigenous cultures and witness nature in its purest form.

It Exceeded Our Expectations

It exceeded our expectations... Great company, tours, guides, and transportation. We felt comfortable all the time. The highlights were the guides and the nature we get to experience. It might seem a little pricey when you receive the quote, but it is worth it once you make it.
